Pop or Abstract
I see myself as more of an abstract expressionist simply due to the fact that I receive my feelings, emotions, and thoughts for the subconcious. I like to display what is going on in my head at that very second. Even though it may be tougher to understand what the artist is trying to convey, it still, in my opinion, has deeper meaning. I believe that the artist is able to express their thoughts more openly and more creatively than a pop artist. It gives the viewer a chance to look more closely at what the artist is trying to get across. It makes you think rather than glancing at the piece and automatically knowing what it is depicting.

I agree with you to a point. I have a hard time thinking that pop art one can just assume they know what it means. Remember we had a heck of a time trying to figure out some of the pop art in class.
