Art or Not?
Art can not be defined in Webster's terms. It isn't clearly stated by this picture one way or another. Therefore because there is not a definite explanation as to whether it is art or not I believe it is. Art is an expression, it doesn't have to be drawn or painted it just has to be let out in some sort of creative way. This expression might not have been done by one person but that, I think, makes all the more beautiful.

I'm really interested in a concept that you just brought up--how the art wasn't just created by one person (at one time). The paintings have come together to create something entirely new.
The graffiti on the wall, wasn't necessarily put there to make other people wonder if it was art of not. Or to cause enjoyment or pleasure for any on-lookers. It could have been put there for use of communication purposes. I'm sure there is another form of art work out there that was somehow used to convey a message. There could be a hidden message that only the person, or group of people would know where it is or what it means. I think that it is not art.
